33PT MIT MATRIX
Jeden Sommer feiern Studierende der FH Dortmund das Fest für Typografie, Grafik und Gestaltung, genannt 33pt. Designer und Designerinnen aus Deutschland & drumrum zeigen ihr Arbeiten und erzählen, wie diese entstehen. Fabia von Matrix war dabei am 12.Juni 2014.

  STOFFDRUCK INTERNATIONAL
`Stoffdruck International` zeigte verschiedene Positionen aus Druckwerkstätten in Europa und Japan. Wir freuen uns, dass Matrix Teil davon war.

 

  NATHALIE LAHDENMÄKI IM MATRIX SHOP
Anlässlich der ART Basel stellt der Matrix Shop seine Lokalität einem Gast zur Verfügung. Mit Nathalie Lahdenmäki hat Matrix 2014 eine aufstrebenede Designerin aus Finnland eingeladen.
Nathalie Lahdenmäki brachte ihr handgefertigtes Porzellangeschirr nach Basel und zum ersten Mal in die Schweiz. Ihre Objekte sind für den Alltagsgebrauch gedacht. Nathalie Lahdenmäki bezeichnet sie als Archetypen einer Grundausstattung für das tägliche Essen, Trinken und Servieren.

  2 YEARS OF MATRIX
For the second time, we celebrated our birthday with our clients on the terrace above the MATRIX Shop, serving ice cream and displaying the 84 new trays of the 2012/2013 collection.

In the summer of 2012, we added the delicious ice cream parfaits made by ge.m.a. bachegge in Kleinbasel to our product range.

>> 1 YEAR OF MATRIX
On a sunny day in early September 2011, the MATRIX Shop celebrated its first anniversary. Clients and friends joined us for coffee and cake on the terrace above the shop, with a beautiful view of the Rhine. For this occasion, we produced a special edition of chequered trays.

 

  MATRIX CANVAS BAG
Following the successful launch of our canvas bag during ART Basel 2011, this practical and stylish accessory can be spotted here and there on the streets of Basel.

 

  MATRIX Panini
hochparterre Schweiz printed a series of special edition Panini stickers for the Football World Championships 2010. MATRIX is featured on one of the stickers, illustrated by Isabelle Mauchle.

Between May and September 2010, before our shop opening, we hosted several exhibitions and events. Thank you to all those who contributed!

 

>> MATRIX COUNTDOWN
A small display cabinet beside our shop window at St. Johanns-Vorstadt 38 showed a daily glimpse of our work and of the preparations for the shop opening.

 

  MATRIX PHOTO SHOOTING
On August 4, 2010, the first MATRIX photo shooting took place. We are very happy about the great pictures. Thank you to:

We love Mr Leal as the lead singer of Sens Unik and as an actor, and he obviously loves our woollen scarf Basalt!

 

     

 

  MATRIX IN BLANKENESE
What is the connection between MATRIX, meat, the Olympics, shadow, zero, blue and sumo?

 

  MATRIX AT PROGNOSE
For the launch of the new collection, PROGNOSE draws a large-scale version of the pattern ‘Regatta’ from the MATRIX scarf collection onto the floors and walls at the PROGNOSE premises. A fantastic intervention!

 

  MATRIX WINS AGAIN
At Blickfang Vienna in October 2007, MATRIX received the Museum of Applied Art’s MAK Design Shop Award. MATRIX was awarded the prize for its series of loden products from that year’s winter collection and its printed cardboard boxes.

At the Blickfang design show in Zurich, our sushi bar booth received the silver award! We were thrilled about the award, honour and fame as well as the successful launch of the MATRIX Ménage collection.
