Wir haben fehlerhaften Tabletts eine neue Form und Bestimmmung gegeben. Die Rondellen mit eingepressten Matrix Stoffen gibt's in fünf Grössen und unzähligen Mustern. Als Beschriftungsplakette, Schlüsselanhänger oder Weihnachtsbaumschmuck einsetzbar.

 

  MATRIX FÜR STILHAUS
Im November 2012 eröffnete in Rothrist das Stilhaus. Auf 20'000 qm kann man hier ausgewählte Designmarken und Kollektionen anschauen und sich zwischendurch im Stilhaus Restaurant erfrischen. Der Kaffee und die Suppe werden dort auf Matrix Tabletts serviert.

In May, Monika Müller and her ‘Pfifferling’ team opened their first deli in Basel. Matrix printed a special edition of trays to match the interior design by Christian Speck.

For Vitra and the Collectors Lounge at ART Basel, Matrix designed wallpaper with a lavish floral design. It was displayed in three different colours on more than 600 m2 of wall space.

 

>> EDITION DINO SIMONETT AT MATRIX
For thirty years, celebrities such as Tilda Swinton, René Burri, Daniel Schmid or Valerio Olgiati have explored the art of bookmaking with Dino Simonett. Now, Dino Simonett presents his ‘Réserve du Patron’ at Matrix.

From 12th to 30th June, Matrix displays Dino Simonett’s books and objects as well as the scarf ‘Dino’, designed by Matrix in cooperation with Dino Simonett.

 

>> MATRIX AT FASHIONCLASH
In June, the fashion event ‘Fashionclash’ took place in Maastricht. Matrix accepted the invitation extended by Matylda Krzykowski and participated in the ‘Clash’. On the opening night, ten non-fashion designers presented an outfit on the catwalk. Matrix contributed with a dress made of Sellotape and veneer foil. An inspiring project!

 

  MATRIX FOR DEPOT BASEL
Depot Basel is a space for contemporary design. Matrix developed and printed a scarf exclusively for Depot Basel. Limited edition of 100 scarves, CHF 180 per piece. Part of the proceeds go to the operation of Depot Basel.

In cooperation with knitwear designer Tina Miyake, we produced a mini series of printed leg warmers.

>> MATRIX FOR HOTEL KRAFFT
In a particularly exciting collaboration with Hotel Krafft in Basel, we developed a special collection of foulards and pocket-handkerchiefs for the hotel’s employees. The colouring of the accessories was based on the colours of the historic tiled floor in the hotel lobby.

  MATRIX IN RIGGISBERG
After a two-year renovation, the Abegg Foundation re-opens its museum for historic textiles from the Mediterranean. Matrix designed the foulards for the museum’s attendants and took pleasure in their elegant appearance.

We are pleased to announce our newest project. MATRIX has developed a special collection of trays for GLOBUS Magazine AG. The ‘MATRIX for GLOBUS’ collection consists of seven different designs, available as trays in two different sizes or as printed paper. Starts in September in all 14 Globus branches.

Nanette from the Stuttgart based label drauf&dran has included our fabrics in her collection of barrettes and hair ties. This way, even the smallest MATRIX fabric scraps are used in an attractive way.

The staff of the Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank wear specially designed silk scarves by MATRIX.

A limited edition of 30 unique silk scarves, drawn and designed by Thomas Zindel, printed by Fabia Zindel.

Artists Pascale Wiedemann and Daniel Mettler created an edition of *Pornoschals*, printed by MATRIX.

Isabel Bürgin celebrates her 21st year in business by launching *Papita*, a collection of limited edition shopping bags with a unicolour screen print by MATRIX.
